Korean rock band CNBLUE has placed on the prestigious Oricon chart once again with their second single.
On Friday, the group's agency FNC Music announced that the latest single "I don't know why" took the No. 1 spot on Oricon's weekly Indies singles chart according to the poll as of September 27, while their first single "The Way" stands in seventh.
"I don't know why," which features four tracks written by leader Jung Yong-hwa and member Jong-hyun, had entered the Oricon's daily singles chart in sixth place on the day of its release on September 16.
The four-member band, who held three concerts in the country last month, will hold a fan meeting at the Tokyo International Forum on October 28.
CNBLUE released two singles in Japan before breaking into the local music scene earlier this year with their hit single "Alone" and mini-album "Bluetory."
The group recently went double platinum in Taiwan, selling over 10,000 copies of "Bluetory" and their second mini-album "Bluelove."
